DOTA map hackers, hacks and cheats

One of the sad things about DOTA, and hopefully the guys at Blizzard and people behind battlenet are doing everything to prevent DOTA hacking and map hacks, cheats etc.

In DOTA games there are regularly comments from players / hero's stating that someone has map hacks which allow people to see where they are on the map or things like that. It would be very frustrating to be ganked or killed off as your hero is watched by map hackers everywhere.

I am sure there are people using these map hacks, and the cheating is surely rife on the Australian 'Bored Aussie' version of DOTA where the creators hacked battlenet and created a local illegal copy of the famous game.

Sadly hacks and cheats extend to all games these days and even World of Warcraft aint safe. Nerdy and life forgiving GM's or game managers spend their nerdy existence governing the games and keeping them free of cheats. These are the kind of people that wanted to be a cop, a school teacher and stuff, or failed to make middle management at work - so they use their powers and love of nerdy stuff to become GM's and apply their rules to a simple computer game. Giving them love and joy, and allowing the game to be free of cheaters to some extent.
